Found: Kokopelli Recon inflatable packrat makes it easy to get to the whitewater

The Kokopelli Recon is a one-person raft, designed to hold you and your gear over advanced water and terrain. It features adjustable backrest strap and (optional) thigh straps, plus six D-ring attachment points for your gear. It’s rated for up to 300lb (136kg) of you and stuff.

The body and floor utilize two separate inflatable chambers, all surrounded with 9mm PVC for bomb-proof construction. Which, they say, is the same stuff commercial rafts are made of, “just a tick thinner”. Claimed weight is 18lb 1oz (8.2kg). Deflated, it’ll drop down to just 12″ x 9″ x 6″ folded. Or roll it up to about 16″ x 12″ and stuff it in your pack. But, inflate it…

…and it grows to 90″ x 37″ with an inside measurement of 57″ x 15.5″. It ships with a foot pump, inflation tube, repair kit, the back band, and a 3-year warranty. Retail is $900, available for pre-order now, ships March 29, 2019.
